Pray and Believe

Mark 11:24 – “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

Have you ever asked God for something and then wondered if He was really listening? Maybe you prayed for help on a test, for someone to feel better, or for peace when you’re feeling anxious. Prayer can feel like a big mystery sometimes — like you're talking to God but not sure what will happen next.

But Mark 11:24 reminds us of something important: When you pray, believe. Trust that God hears you. Trust that He cares. And trust that He’s working, even if you don’t see the answer right away.

God isn’t a magic wish-granter. He doesn’t always give us exactly what we ask for, exactly when we want it. But He does promise to hear our prayers and respond in the best way — in His time, and with His wisdom.

So when you pray, don’t just say the words and forget about it. Pray with faith. Believe that God is already moving. Even if you don’t see results right away, know that God is doing something good.

This week’s reminder: Don’t just pray — believe. God is listening, and He’s got you.
